We use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences and provide website functions. Optional technologies are managed through “Cookie preferences”, available in the footer. This policy includes browser local storage, even though it is not technically a cookie.
How to choose
You can accept all optional technologies, reject them or save a selection by purpose when optional services are enabled. The configuration implemented keeps analytics switched off until authorisation is received. If no optional services are active, the notice is not displayed automatically, but you can open the preferences.
You can change your choice from the footer. When you withdraw permission for Synerise, the code attempts to remove the accessible cookies and keys it recognises and reloads the page if its script was already loaded. This action does not erase data already sent or guarantee deletion of cookies on other domains or inaccessible to the page’s code.
First-party preferences
artefacto_consent: a first-party cookie that records the privacy choice and its version. Its configured lifetime is 180 days. It allows both acceptance and rejection to be remembered.
artefacto-theme: a first-party local storage key for remembering the selected visual theme. The code does not set automatic expiry; it may remain until the site’s storage is cleared or the browser removes it.
_snrs_dnt: a first-party cookie signalling rejection of Synerise, with a configured lifetime of 180 days. It is set as an opt-out signal when rejection is synchronised while that integration is enabled; it is not analytics authorisation.
Project search storage
artefacto:project-brief:v1: a local storage key that retains the last description submitted to the search tool to accompany a later enquiry. It is saved when submission is attempted, even if submission is not completed.
artefacto:project-ranking:v2: a local storage key that retains the identifiers and order of recommended projects and the relevance configuration used to obtain them.
These keys have no automatic expiry in the code reviewed and do not depend on analytics permission. The option to clear recommendations removes both keys when available; you can also remove them through your browser’s site data settings. Removing them does not erase the description already received by Artefacto.
The need for, and duration of, persistent storage of the description and its reuse in later enquiries remain to be validated. If that storage goes beyond the function expressly requested, its consent arrangements must be brought into line before activation; inclusion in this policy does not automatically make it exempt storage.
Security verification and editorial access
Cloudflare Turnstile loads when protected forms are displayed, if configured, to check submissions and reduce spam. It operates independently of analytics consent. The code inventory declares no Turnstile-specific cookies or keys, but this does not demonstrate the absence of storage or technical processing by the provider.
The editorial area uses authentication for authorised staff. Its session cookies, names and lifetimes in the final environment must be added to the inventory. They are not presented as visitor analytics technologies.
Optional analytics and planned services
The code includes an optional Synerise analytics service, subject to enablement and consent. Its cleanup patterns recognise cookies beginning with _snrs_, except _snrs_dnt, and local keys beginning with _snrs_ or synerise-, as well as snr-token and snr-wp-state. These patterns do not constitute a complete inventory or establish the lifetime of each item.
The specific names, domains, detailed purposes and lifetimes of Synerise analytics must be checked against the actual configuration before activation. Using Synerise to manage forms and the newsletter is distinct from analytics tracking in the browser.
The website owner plans to add PostHog or Google Analytics 4; neither is active according to the owner’s confirmation, nor has their integration been identified in the code reviewed. Before they are added, the inventory, recipients and consent options will be updated in line with the actual configuration. No advertising pixels have been identified in the audited flows, and the website owner has no plans to install them.
Providers and transfers
External services may receive technical data when your browser connects to them. Contracts, locations and international transfer safeguards for optional services remain to be confirmed. We do not state that all information remains in the European Union. Please also consult the privacy policy.

Management through your browser
You can also delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser’s privacy or site data settings. Consult its current help information, as menu names change. Blocking necessary storage may prevent your preferences from being remembered or requested functions from being maintained.
Clearing site data may remove your choice and cause it to be requested again. If purposes or optional services change materially, the information will need to be reviewed and a new choice obtained where appropriate.
